Te Reo Maori - What are you doing?

Te Reo Maori- What are you doing?

Step it up with my Maori pronunciation

This activity was so fun to do, it was pretty challenging at first but at the same time fun, the challenging part was trying to pronounce those words because Im not that good with them but besides that I definitely had fun while completing this activity.

  1. Kia Ora Deborah,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

I enjoyed this activity because I think it is important for everyone to learn and practice their Te Reo Māori. Your slide was very well done and you translated and rearranged the sentences well!

I see in the last slide that you are going to the park or playground today, that is exciting. What are you going to do there?

Great job doing the step it up activity and I thought your pronunciation was great.

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates

    1. Thank you Nita, I find pronouncing Maori words in between, depending what word it is. What about you?

  3. Hi Deborah,

My name is Sakshi and I am a year 8 student in Panmure Bridge School. I saw this blog post while scrolling through your blog. It was very knowledgeable! Me and my friends often visit your blog as you complete all the activities and have been an active blogger. I have also completed this activity and have posted this on my blog as well!

Your pronunciation is very clear and I think it is much better than mine as I am still learning and new to this language. I really liked reading your blog post today! I liked how you have said about the challenging parts in this activity as the reader can relate their work to it and understand more. What was something new you learnt after completing this task? Was this task helpful?

Keep up the great work! I am looking forward for your reply.
