Replace the lyrics !

This is my chorus that I made up, it talks about our school, and how we will rise high like the sky, above and beyond, one of our school value is perseverance, and that means to strive hard and never give up!, and I encourage use to do the same, look up never down and strive hard!, This activity was a blast! I really wanted to sing this but my household is loud at the moment and I found a time to complete this quick. This activity wasn't that hard I reckon because I'm used to making songs up and lyrics to replace it. Today's activity was fun, I for sure enjoyed it and can't wait for more.

Don't forget to leave a comment!

Thank you SLJ, Mrs Grant and Bloggers

  1. Kia Ora Deborah,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

What a beautiful song! I think it has a lovely meaning and I like how you’ve explained why you’ve written it and the values you have embedded throughout it. Ka pai! You’re awesome!

What other sorts of songs do you write about? How do you think of the words? Do you like singing?

I’m super keen to hear your song. Because the ‘Replace the Lyrics’ activity is a two parter, if you make another post with yourself singing, you’ll be able to get some extra points!

    Keep up the fantastic work!

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  6. Malo Deborah,

My name is Sakshi and I am a year 8 student in Panmure Bridge School. I saw this blog post while scrolling through your blog. It is amazing! Me and my friends often visit your blog as you complete all the activities and have been an active blogger. I have also completed this activity and have posted this on my blog as well!

You were so creative with the lyrics of the song. I like how you have kept the song the same but changed the lyrics. This song is such a perfect example to show others! Do you have the same beat for the song? I also liked how you have added a detailed blurb which tells about your experience. Can you express this song in five words? If yes, what are they?

Keep up the great work! I am looking forward for your reply.
