Summer !

 Kick Start
 Step it up
Step it up !

This first activity was a challenge and got me thinking what my favourite things are in summer and found it. This was a very good activity to complete, it was fun and cool ! my favourite part about this was looking and finding the pictures, I went across some amazing aesthetic photographs. This definitely was a good opportunity for me, I loved this activity and can't wait for more!

Don't forget to comment !

Thank you

Renee from the Summer Learning Journey Team, here. Ka pai for your work on another awesome blog post! Firstly, I wanted to say well done for completing both the “Kick Start” and “Step it Up” aspects of this activity. That is awesome and means that you have earned extra points towards your Summer Learning Journey tally. Secondly, I love your summer collage! So many of these pictures remind me of awesome summer activities. I love swimming, the beach, and listening to music during the summer months but I also love relaxing and spending time with friends and whānau. Do you have a favourite picture in the collage?

I also love your swimming focused picture! Swimming during the summer in the ocean or a pool is the best. Do you have a favourite stroke? Do you prefer swimming at a beach or in a pool?

Finally, ka pai on writing a summer haiku! I know it can be tricky to match the number of syllables in each line with the words you want to include in your poem, so well done. Do you enjoy writing haiku poems? Can I ask what kind of bottle you were thinking about when you wrote the last line of the poem?

Keep up the excellent mahi, I can't wait to see your other posts over the summer.

    1. Kia ora Renee,
To be honest all of these are my favourite pictures, how about you? what picture is your favourite?.

My favourite stroke is freestyle, what's your favourite stroke?
I'm not sure what I'd pick to swim, I would pick pool if im doing competitions and I would pick beach to have fun and relax, what would you pick?

Yes, I enjoy writing haiku poems, what's your favourite poetry?
The bottle I was thinking of was like a reef and of how you go beyond it. So sorry if you don't get my explanation

      Thank you for commenting Renee!

    2. Kia ora Deborah - I am finding it hard to pick a favourite photo from your collage (as I like them all) but if I had to pick one it would have to be the pancakes and fruit. Pancakes are one of my favourite foods and my whānau usually makes these on Christmas day so they always remind me of special times. My favourite stroke is butterfly because I am able to swim really fast doing this stroke. I don’t race in competitions anymore so now I prefer to swim at the beach with friends and relax. Thanks for answering my question about your haiku poem, I see what you mean now. I think it is cool when the meaning of poetry is not always completely obvious as this means that people can interpret things differently, which is awesome. I don’t have a favourite style of poetry to be honest with you, I really like all poetry styles!
Keep up the awesome blogging Deborah, I always love seeing your posts!
